Not a runner? Not a problem! Spend some time in nature and help support the GCBS during this “run” around the trails. Run, walk, or skip — the important thing is that you slow down and take your time. Be an Underachiever!

So if you feel like you don’t fit in at those “uptight” and “elitist” 5Ks, try a laid-back 0.5K (pronounced “point 5K”). You can even wear a costume if you want. Refreshments will be served during and after the run (Donuts, muffins, soda, juice). Register online at GCBirdSanctuary.com. Only $10 per person to participate.

The Underachievers Run is on Saturday, August 17 (raindate August 24). Check-In starts at 11:30 AM. The Run starts at 12:00 PM. The Garden City Bird Sanctuary is located at 182 Tanners Pond Rd, Garden City.
